Experimental Film

Hey Everyone,

Mental Images is coming out with an experimental film very soon. An experimental film describes a range of filmmaking styles generally differnent from "mainstream commercial." It is just going to be very pretty and cool to watch. The release date will be between May 22nd and May 27th. You will get an exact date by the 20th. And then, it'll be on our site, YouTube, and Vimeo.com. :-) See ya soon!

Email from the DIRECTOR OF "SCOPE"

Hey everybody,
Just got an email from Director of "Scope," Cameron Radice. Part of the email read: "...Screenings of the rough cut have already gained serious attention at the Colorado Film School. On that note, Scope will also be taken into consideration for the 2010 Student Academy Awards happening in Beverly Hills. Shortly after, it will begin making it's appearance in film festivals everywhere else."

Everyone involved in this HUGE short film has high hopes for it! Keep posted, and good luck C&C Pictures!

Scope, Scope, Scope!!

Hey!! I'm so hyper right now!! I don't know if its because I'm so excited for "Scope," or if it's just all this Mountain Dew. hmm...Well, annnyyyywayyy........



The final touches for C&C Pictures and Mental Images short film "Scope" are being finished as we speak! We are about to enter it into The 2010 Student Academy Awards in Cali! More on that VERY soon!



Also, another short film under just Mental Images is being talked about and thrown around. We'll see!

"Scope" Day 2 of 2

Hey everybody! Sorry it took me so long to blog about the second day of filming. Before we get started I want to name two high-ranked people involved with "Scope" not pictured in the previous update: Nathan Rigaud (Director of Photography) and Dillion Fuentes (1st A.D.)

So, THATS A WRAP! We have finished filming and are currently in Post-Production. From what I've seen so far, it's looking JUST A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The premiere date is not yet set in stone, but I should know for sure in about a week. What we know for sure is "Scope" will be submitted for the 2010 Student Academy Awards for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences! It should also be posted on Youtube very shortly after. We will have much more soon! I will be blogging once a week on Friday evenings until "Scope" is released.

"Scope" Day One of Two

Well, 8 hours of filming have been completed with only 6 more to go! I have to say, I'm pretty darn excited to see how this all turns out! Outdoor shots were finished last night and Indoor shots are taking place in a few hours from now at Miramont Castle. I have a written contract with C&C Pictures saying what I can and can't tell you so I won't say much, but here are a few things from yesterday: Director: Cameron Radice
